Aaron Lynton

Aaron is an artist, filmmaker and photographer, who specializes in aerial, astro, action-sports, landscapes and ocean art. He loves to play with light and movement, as well as capture special moods, moments and environments. His hope is to visually transport the viewer. Aaron is eco-minded and wants his art evoke positive awareness of the ocean and the world surrounding us.
He is a PADI Dive Master, an F.I.I. Level 1 freediver, and is EFR/CPR certified. He earned his first magazine cover (Freesurf Magazine) in January 2018 for his photo of Nathan Florence at Jaws. He has also been nominated into in the prestigious WSL XXL Big Wave Awards Finals 4 years in a row (2016-19). In 2018, he was the most nominated photographer in the entire competition, earning 6 separate nominees spanning all three photo categories.From shore break and turtles the milky way and big wave surfing, Aaron’s work can momentarily transport you, and allow you to take a unique look at the ever changing world that surrounds us. He is inspired by artists like Ansel Adams, Richard Avedon, Brian Bielmann, Ben Thouard, Jimmy Chin, Clark Little, Andy Cassagrande, Perrin James, and his late father Jonathan Lynton.
